Everyone Love Ice Cream

Nobody can deny you were never eat an ice cream before. I think everyone love ice cream and ice cream is not just a dessert. It is my favorite memory of childhood, on my lazy days and summer nights. Ice cream is served at birthdays, celebrations. It has become a part of my family. My family always have ice cream in our frige even in the cold season. Let's go back and see how it all started.

The origins of ice cream can be traced back to at least the 4th century B.C. Early references include the Roman emperor Nero (A.D. 37-68) who ordered ice to be brought from the mountains and combined with fruit toppings, and King Tang (A.D. 618-97) of Shang, China who had a method of creating ice and milk concoctions. Ice cream was likely brought from China back to Europe. Over time, recipes for ices, sherbets, and milk ices evolved and served in the fashionable Italian and French royal courts. After the dessert was imported to the United States, it was served by several famous Americans. George Washington and Thomas Jefferson served it to their guests. In 1700, Governor Bladen of Maryland was recorded as having served it to his guests. In 1774, a London caterer named Philip Lenzi announced in a New York newspaper that he would be offering for sale various confections, including ice cream. Dolly Madison served it in 1812.

For my favorite ice cream is Ben& Jerry's,My personal favorite is chocolate fudge brownie and vanilla caramel fudger. I was first eat Ben & Jerry's when I went to the United State two year ago. It is delicious and I still perfer to eat Ben& Jerry's in Thailand even it is too expensive here. Because I think their ice cream flavors is more then just ice cream. Let's find out how Ben& Jerry's become. Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield are two friends. They opened their first homemade ice cream shop in 1978 in Burlington. Vermont. In 1981, Ben & Jerry's gained national attention when Time Magazine wrote that they had 'the best ice cream in the world'.Although they started with only 12 flavors, they have released and retired dozens to the ice cream. Today they have so many flavors that I have not try yet.Yummy!!
